Balloon Angioplasty

When the artery is blocked because of substance like cholesterol the surgeon opens the clogged artery by the technique is called balloon angioplasty. In this procedure a catheter which is in shape of tube which have a small balloon at one end inserted into the groin to the clogged artery in the heart. The balloon crushes the plaque.
